Captain Marlin Payment Methods
The cashier lists eight methods, all in GBP unless the table says otherwise. I tested PayPal, debit card and Faster Payments myself and took the other figures from the cashier page. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in the UK since 2020, so you will only see debit cards.

| Bank transfer | Bank | £50 | £50 | 3-5 business days | None | GBP |
| PayPal | E-wallet | £10 | £20 | 2-24 hours | None | GBP |

Captain Marlin Paybill Number
Captain Marlin does not use a paybill number. You pay through the cashier methods in the table above. Pay by Phone via Boku adds the deposit to your mobile bill or deducts it from your pay-as-you-go credit, and you never type a paybill code.
How to Deposit at Captain Marlin
Deposits take about two minutes:
- Log into your Captain Marlin account.
- Open the Cashier section.
- Select the Deposit tab.
- Choose your payment method.
- Enter your amount, starting at £10.
- Tick the welcome bonus box if you want the offer.
- Confirm with your bank, PayPal or phone provider.
- Check your balance. Debit card, PayPal and Open Banking deposits reach it within a minute.
Tick the bonus box before you confirm your first deposit. Captain Marlin does not add the bonus afterwards, and I learned that on a £25 top-up I could not retrieve. Bank transfer sits at the top of the range with a £50 minimum.
How to Make a Captain Marlin Withdrawal
Follow these steps to cash out:
- Log into your Captain Marlin account.
- Open the Cashier section.
- Select the Withdrawal tab.
- Choose your method. Captain Marlin sends money back to the method you deposited with where it can.
- Enter an amount of at least £20.
- Confirm with your account password.
- Upload your ID if the cashier asks for it.
- Wait out the pending period of up to 12 hours.
Verification causes the longest delay. I uploaded a passport photo and a council tax bill, and Captain Marlin approved both in about five hours. Captain Marlin marks the withdrawal as processed once the payment team releases the money. After that point PayPal or your bank controls the timing. Pay by Phone and Apple Pay cannot receive withdrawals, so you need a debit card, PayPal or bank account on file.
Rules and Limits of Deposits and Withdrawals at Captain Marlin UK
Captain Marlin sets these limits on cashouts:
- Minimum withdrawal: £20 (£50 for bank transfer)
- Maximum withdrawal per day: £2,500
- Maximum withdrawal per week: £7,500
- Maximum withdrawal per month: £20,000
- Bonus wagering: 40x on the bonus portion, so a £50 bonus needs £2,000 of bets before you can withdraw it
- Pending period: up to 12 hours, with a cancel button
- Inactive account fee: £5 per month after 12 months without a login
UK Gambling Commission rules let you withdraw your cash balance at any time, including with a bonus active. If you do, Captain Marlin removes the bonus and any winnings from it. The cancel button during the pending period returns your money to your balance, and I used it twice before I stopped second-guessing my cashouts.
How Long Does Captain Marlin Take to Withdraw?
Your method decides the wait. These Captain Marlin withdrawal times combine my own tests with the cashier figures, and each one includes the pending period:
- Cryptocurrency: 1 to 6 hours
- PayPal: 2 to 24 hours
- Skrill and Neteller: up to 24 hours
- Open Banking / Faster Payments: 1 to 2 business days
- Visa and Mastercard debit: 2 to 4 business days
- Bank transfer: 3 to 5 business days
Weekends stretch these numbers. The payment team clears bank-based methods from Monday to Friday, so a Friday 8pm Faster Payments request reached me on Tuesday. E-wallet requests moved on Saturday, though more slowly than on a weekday. Choose PayPal if you want the money fast and don't mind the 24-hour ceiling.
Captain Marlin Cryptocurrency Support
Captain Marlin accepts three coins for deposits and withdrawals:
- Supported coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin
- Minimum deposit: £10 equivalent
- Minimum withdrawal: £20 equivalent
- Processing: 1 to 6 hours, the fastest on the cashier
- Exchange rate: Captain Marlin converts at the rate on confirmation, so the pound value can move between your request and the payout
- Fees: Captain Marlin charges none, but the blockchain network takes its own fee
Crypto does not skip ID checks. Captain Marlin still asks for documents before your first withdrawal.
Captain Marlin Payment Security
Captain Marlin protects transactions with these measures:
- SSL encryption on every cashier page
- Regulation by the UK Gambling Commission
- KYC checks before your first withdrawal
- Player funds held in accounts separate from company money
- Optional two-factor login
- Independent auditor testing of game fairness
Captain Marlin matches the name on your payment method to the name on your account. A PayPal account or card in someone else's name fails the check, and the withdrawal goes back to your balance.
